These are my least favorite days - I've never liked them too much, and now that I have to leave Haley at daycare after spending 2 whole days with her....I like them even less.
I think Abby shares my feelings too - she can tell what's in store for the day by our routines in the morning - relaxed, no shower, dressing in sweats and t-shirts = NO WORK, which usually means - lock down, which most of time means "nobody in - nobody out" which we all kind of like, especially Abby. She got used to Haley and I being home all day while I was on maternity leave, which meant she got all kinds of special treatment during the day. The other routine, running around crazy, showering, going into the closet for something to wear = WORK. (DAMN IT) Abby has to hang out all by herself - until lunch, then she goes for a much needed walk. Much needed for me too. With that said....I think I'll go to lunch now.
