One day I was sitting at work, and it just occurred to me that Haley was probably ready for a big girl bike! I hadn't been talking about it to her, or really even thinking about it until that very day. So, after a couple of google searches I had made up my mind. She needed a bike. So I picked her up on Friday afternoon (4/16) and we head out with a mission to purchase a bike and a helmet. Haley was super excited about this and had some ideas of her own already. She wanted a bike that had a bell on it! After a little searching and riding, and getting the bejesus scared out of me by one of the bells we tried out at Toys R Us, we loaded up a pink bike, a pink helmet, and of course the coolest bell we could find (not the scary one). We took it home to Daddy, he put it together and w/in 15 minutes she was a pro!!! She really did get the hang of it very easily, even more so than the tricycle she had, for some reason that thing was little tricky for her. My big girl rocks on her big girl bike! She loves that bell too!
