October seemed to be a month full of firsts for my Haley bug. On Saturday Oct 15th, Haley, me, Taylor, Matthew and Aunt Michelle went to the State Fair (in Raleigh) we had an awesome time. I realized on that trip that I've got a little girl that is a lot braver than I knew. She wanted to ride - everything! We rode the swings, a roller coaster, bumper cars, a slide w/ sack, SHE rode the ferris wheel and there were several other things that she would have ridden had time allowed it. I was a little surprised that Matthew wasn't as excited to ride. It got a little stressful at times because in the beginning we separated to do different things, then...because of the terrible cell phone service we had a difficult time getting back together. Did I mention we went on Saturday? yeah, well, that won't happen again - the place was crazy packed. It was still a great trip despite getting separated and at one point very frustrated - I hope we can do it again next year on a weekday.
