It's Confirmed!

Haley is a genius! I had my suspicions for some time now, but yesterday morning really confirmed them. She can spell her name!!! "H A L E Y" - quite impressive, huh? We got these alphabet flash cards w/ the little pictures on the other side. I pulled out just her first name - and we worked with them for only 1 night. Of course they've been doing some ABC work at school as well, but we really played with those things that night, both Steve and I. She could point to the letters and say them, and it appeared that she knew in what order they needed to go - but driving to school on Tuesday morning, she just starts spelling her name! I couldn't believe it, then again, I should not have been so surprised - she is a very smart little person already. It was so sweet/cute - because it was apparent that she was thrilled with herself too - she just knew she did something amazing! LOVE HER!!!!
