Haley's 3rd Birthday!

I have some serious updating to do....let's start with the most exciting thing that has happened since I wrote. Haley turned 3, that's right 3 YEARS OLD! We had her birthday party on Saturday July 10th, the usual suspects were all right there to celebrate with us - Kalaya, Mama-me, Daddy-Steve, Abby, MiMi, PaPa, Taylor, Matthew, Aunt Shell and Uncle Chris. MiMi made Haley's favorite chocolate M&M cupcakes, and we also had a crisco cake, yum yum! It was a great day, a little rainy - so the outside stuff that we planned was delayed a little while, but as soon as there was a break, the kids (little ones and big ones) went outside to play in the pool and be sneaky with water balloons. Haley stayed in her swimsuit all day long, even for our pictures. Then on her actual birthday, Tuesday the 13th, I took the day off - and that was SO VERY NICE, because last year I couldn't do that - DEATHSPAN was my summer, I was trapped at the "command center" and I hated it. Being with her the whole day was awesome! MiMi came over with Matthew and Taylor, PaPa stopped by. Kalaya was there. We had cookie cake, from the cake lady (your perfect cake) and McDonalds Happy Meals, and it was really warm and sunny, so we all - even MiMi played in the pool. Another great day!!!
There are more updates to come...some firsts for us as a family, some firsts for Haley - I'll write more later, the day is coming to an end, and I need to wrap some things up at work, so I can go get my girl, my superstar, my best friend, my favorite little person in the whole world - Haley, and go home.
